Bartender

1931 Gallery Bistro at the Vancouver Art Gallery is seeking a bartender.

We have mostly day shifts available with a few nights also - we have flexibility to work with the successful candidates schedule. Part Time / Full Time available.

Successful applicants should possess:

- a minimum of 3 years experience in a Bartender role

- have strong knowledge of BC wines

- classic cocktail knowledge, and ability to memorize "house" cocktail specs

- have barista experience, and be comfortable making all types of coffee

- have experience serving guests (at the bar or on the floor)

- is proactive behind the bar and can move up a gear when busy

- a strong sense of organization with the ability to prioritize

- and prior experience with top level food service in a high-volume establishment.

The bartender is a very integral role within the restaurant; the successful candidate would have the opportunity to leave their mark on the bar program at 1931.

Preferable:
Multi lingual (Fluent English + another language)

Immediate start available.

What we offer:
$18 per hour + tips
